Paul Voorhorst, MS, MBA has held many roles with increasing responsibility over his 30-year career with DePuy Synthes and is currently responsible for Clinical Science and External Research. He has led the strategy for evidence generation for multiple Orthopaedic therapeutic areas with a strong emphasis on Joint Reconstruction and Sport Medicine. Paul is the Co-chairman of the AdvaMed Orthopaedic Products Working Group and is the AdvaMed representative on the American Joint Replacement Registry (AJRR) Steering Committee, OrthoCRN Steering Committee and the Executive Committee of the International Society of Arthroplasty Registries (ISAR). He has directed the statistical analyses, reporting, and subsequent submission of numerous IDEs, PMAs and reclassification petitions. He has also presented at numerous FDA Advisory Panel meetings in addition to his publications in scientific journals. Paul had 5 years of pharmaceutical clinical research experience at Sterling Drug prior to joining DePuy Orthopaedics in 1989. Paul currently serves on the Board of Directors for OrthoWorx. He has also served as a guest professor at Grace College. Paul earned a B.A. degree in Mathematics from Hope College, a M.S. degree in Biostatistics from Western Michigan University, and a M.B.A. degree from the State University of New York.
