Andrew J. Meltzer, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Surgery and an Assistant Professor of Surgery in Public Health at Weill Cornell Medical College. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Yale University in 1999. In 2003, he earned his Medical Degree, magna cum laude, from Jefferson Medical College. Widely published in peer-reviewed journals and the author of numerous book chapters, Dr. Meltzer’s research efforts focus on surgical outcomes and comparative effectiveness in vascular surgery. He is a co-principal investigator on a study of the reliability of implantable devices used for endovascular abdominal aortic aneurysm repair and peripheral vascular disease.
