Sean M. Currigan, MPH is a Quality and Safety Officer at the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG). He created ACOG’s reVITALize initiatives (national clinical data definition standardization) and its clinical data strategy including the formation of ACOG’s health information technology and clinical informatics department. He directs ACOG’s first technical contract advancing electronic data collection in Title X Family Planning clinics for the Office of Population Affairs. Prior to joining ACOG, Mr. Currigan supported health insurance plan-level quality performance measure development at the National Committee for Quality Assurance including technical assistance and coordination for various regional data aggregation and public reporting projects. Before joining NCQA, Mr. Currigan supported registry development and research with the National Cardiovascular Data Registries at the American College of Cardiology.
