Daniel Bertges, MD is Associate Professor of Surgery and Medicine at the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington, VT.  He did his undergraduate work at Cornell University before completing medical school at the University of Pittsburgh. He did his general surgery residency and vascular surgery fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He is an active member of the Registry Assessment of Peripheral Interventional Devices (RAPID) and the Vascular Quality Initiative serving as the chairman of the Peripheral Vascular Intervention Registry. In addition to his research interest he is Program Director of the Vascular Surgery Fellowship at UVM.
