Vanessa Azzone, PhD, has extensive experience with data management using a variety of administrative health care data files, from Medicare enrollment and claims data to hospital discharge data and other commercial claims data sources and Registry data. She is currently involved in studying diffusion rates of new technologies for treating coronary heart diseases, working with Massachusetts inpatient discharge data and other Registry data. Within MDEpinet, she supports Drs. Normand and Hatfield with their data programming and project management needs. Dr. Azzone earned her Master in Economics from Boston University and Doctorate in Public Finance from The University of Pavia (Pavia, Italy).
